What Happens After You Submit a Request

After we receive and verify your request, we will delete or anonymize applicable information. The only exception is information we are required to retain for legal, security, billing, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.

For connected social media integrations, we will delete or anonymize the applicable stored data. That covers platform identifiers, access tokens, refresh tokens, connected account records, and related publishing metadata. The only exception is data we must retain for the reasons listed above.

If you remove VideoContent.uk from your Facebook settings, we automatically delete the Facebook and Instagram data we hold for you. Facebook then gives you a confirmation code you can use to check the status on this page. This does not close your VideoContent.uk account or cancel your subscription.

Published Content on Third-Party Platforms

Deleting data from VideoContent.uk does not automatically delete content already published to third-party platforms.

If you published content to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram, you may need to delete that content directly from the relevant platform.

YouTube / Google Data

If you connected YouTube, you may request deletion of the YouTube data stored for your VideoContent.uk account. That covers channel identifiers, access tokens, refresh tokens, upload metadata, video IDs, video URLs, and publishing status records.

Facebook and Instagram Data

If you connected Facebook or Instagram, you may request deletion of the data stored for your VideoContent.uk account. That covers Facebook user IDs, Page IDs, Instagram business or creator account IDs, and access tokens. It also covers connection records, media IDs, post IDs, and publishing status records.

TikTok Data

If you connected TikTok, you may request deletion of the TikTok data stored for your VideoContent.uk account. That covers account identifiers, access tokens, refresh tokens, publish IDs, video upload metadata, and publishing status records.

You may also revoke access through TikTok account settings where available.
